Methylcobalamin

Methylcobalamin is the best and purest source of Vitamin B12. Methylcobalamin B12 is better absorbed than cyanocobalamin, which has to convert to Methylcobalamin before it is used in the body.

Vitamin B12, known as cobalamin, is commonly available in two forms: Methylcobalamin and Cyanocobalamin. Proper absorption of vitamin B12 requires normal function of the digestive system, specifically the stomach, pancreas, and small intestine. B12 is typically available as an oral vitamin B12 supplement or as a vitamin B12 injection. Methylcobalamin is the purest form of vitamin B12. In order for cyanocobalamin to be utilized by the body it must first be converted to Methylcobalamin and 5-deoxyadenosy. Cyanocobalamin is the least efficient way to cure the body of a Vitamin B deficiency because it has to be broken down in order for the body to use it. Methylcobalamin is the only form of B12 injection that is naturally supported by the human body without having to go through an unnecessary chemical breakdown.
